ACHIEVEMENTS:

She has also been honoured with the Woman of the Year Award in 1999, the Woman of Excellence Award for Humanitarian and Community Service in 2007 and most recently the 2008 Courage to Come Back Award. She has just published her first book entitled “Cancer- I Won!”.
Throughout her years in physiotherapy, she served on the Executive Committee of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, was President of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, President of the Toronto District of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and also Secretary-Treasurer and subsquently President of the Quinte-St. Lawrence District of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
